What does Year 2 offer?
Year 2 offers depth. In their Year 1, students will have chosen a specific interaction design theme within the renge of expertise of the institute for their Thesis. They now explore this intensely.

What happens in Year 2?
Each student has two faculty members as Thesis advisors, one with a design background, the other usualy a technical specialist, chosen according to the student�s Thesis area.
Term 1 starts by collaborating with Year 1 on a short Start-Up design project.
Each term has as its backbone one or two design Investigations of each student�s Thesis theme. As in Year 1, each Investigation finishes with a review week for reflection, critiques, progress review, and the updating of project documentation and portfolio web pages.
At two points Year 2 collaborates with Year 1 on Applied Dreams projects.
In the last weeks of term 3 students submit their Thesis for the final critique and exam, exhibit it in the Graduation Show, and celebrate their success at the Graduation Ceremony and Interactive Party. They then join the growing international community of Interaction-Ivrea alumni and associates.
