Expertise   Applied arts and graphic design in digital media

Education   Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (Hons), School of Design. Wanganui, New Zealand (1999)

Bio   Tristam is an interdisciplinary graphic designer. After graduation he worked in offline motion graphics, web and print design for broadcast advertising at the national level in New Zealand. Tristam then moved to Georgia Tech (where he was associated with professors at the school of Literature, Communication & Culture at the Georgia Institute of Technology) in Atlanta, US. Here he worked on collaborative projects with faculty and students that encompassed theoretical and accepted media in traditional and experimental communicative visual realms. He has recently freelanced as a writer, motion and web designer in Berlin.

Focus   Tristam is interested in what occurs when the map is bought closer to the territory. In addition can interactions with mediated environments be made as complete as those encountered with people.
