Education   BA Industrial Design Bezalel. The Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, Israel (1997)
 
Bio   After flying fighter planes as a navigator for the IAF, Oren studied industrial design at Bezalel Academy. While at the academy, he won a scholarship from Siemens Inc for his concept work, a third world 'white appliance' and was offered an internship at the corporate studio. After graduating he worked as a developer of disposables for Biometrix medical products. As an employer of Eureka technologies Oren was involved in the design and implementation of various medical, consumer and technology products. Recently, as a practicing freelance designer in Israel and Australia, he has been engaged in a variety of products such as trekking sandals and video glasses.
 
Focus   Smart materials as a base for interactive objects and garments and microclimate systems for the body, interaction with organic environment.
