Expertise   Interactive system design and implementation

Education   Bachelor of Arts, Philosophy and Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, USA (2004)

Bio   While an undergraduate, Nicholas worked as an interactive multimedia developer for Florida State University. Gaining experience with information architecture and interface design, he focused primarily on collaborative electronic learning environments and interactive textbooks. After completing the computer science program, he began studies in philosophy and worked as a freelance web designer/developer for agencies in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. Balancing interests in visual design, philosophy, and computation for a number of years, Nicholas views interaction design as a synthesis of these disciplines.

Focus   To acquire a human-centric methodology of interactive system design. To rediscover and re-evaluate the role of technology.
