Bio   Haiyan has worked as a software developer, designing and implementing user interfaces for the data warehousing and biomedical industries. After graduating, she worked in a small software firm in Melbourne, Australia, developing a relational database management and creation application. With a team of software engineers in Toronto, she helped develop an EEG visualization tool for intra-operative monitoring, currently being used in hospitals across North America. She eventually moved into web development after her multimedia studies at Sheridan College (Canada), spending her freelance time between Australia and Canada. She has worked with Extend Media (Toronto) on a number of promotional campaigns for US cable television, as well as collaborating with various design firms for clients such as Mitsubishi, Yamaha and the San Francisco Historical Society.
