Education   Master in Industrial Design, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy (2002), which included studies at the Hochschule f�r Gestaltung, Schw�bisch Gm�nd, Germany and at the Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Sweden
 
Bio   Giovanni worked for Philips Design (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) and STEIM (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), which also supported his thesis project "Digital Jockey" that allows people (dj's, clubbers, electronic performers...) to control and manage the club music experience through their body movements. After the Dutch experience he returned to Italy and worked as multimedia, video and event designer for the arts collective Teatro de Tierra (active in Italy, Africa, Chile), as a display and shop systems designer for Zero S.r.l., and as a designer for Carra Contract. He has been an assistant tutor to the well-known Italian designer Patrizia Convertino in a television art and motion graphics workshop at the Politecnico di Milano.
 
Focus   To explore complete sensory functions in everyday life, interaction with the environment through our bodies, and the design of more humane experiences through new technological theories (i.e. mixed reality, tangible bits, etc...).
