Having taken his first programming class at age 13, David has had numerous jobs in software development, including a year as an undergraduate researcher in Justine Cassell's Gesture and Narrative Language group at the MIT Media Lab. While at MIT, he took a class from John Maeda, which encouraged his interest in interaction design. Most recently, he developed server software for options quoting at the Chicago Trading Company. David co-taught a calculus course in MIT's Experimental Study Group and was a counselor at the University of Chicago's Young Scholars Programme in mathematics. |
