Role   Britta Boland taught visual design until 2004 and looks after different aspects of visual communication

Bio   Britta Boland's design experience spans graphic design, typography, corporate identity development, advertising and digital media design. Most recently she worked as an Art Director and Designer at frog design, a well-known product and digital design company in San Francisco. She lead interdisciplinary teams on a broad range of projects including interfaces for various consumer products, software applications, web sites, kiosks and CD-ROMs for such clients as Motorola, Disney, Napster, Microsoft and Real Networks.
Prior to this, she worked at Studio Archetype/Sapient in San Francisco and for digital media companies, advertising agencies, and design consultancies in her native Germany. At Minneapolis College of Art & Design Britta Boland taught graphic design in the Foundation programme and digital design courses in the Continuing Studies programme. Her work has been recognised internationally and earned her awards by ID Magazine, Communication Arts, The One Show Interactive and the Art Director's Club of Germany.
